ADASTEC, an innovator in the SAE Level-4 automated driving software platform, flowride.ai for large-scale commercial vehicles, specializing in electric buses, faced strict contractual requirements – including insurance – for its fleet in 2022. Their previous insurance vendor lacked expertise in deep, innovative technologies, resulting in delays and inadequate coverage. Specifically, their legacy insurance vendor did not have experience automated buses it develops.
